It's been over a month now since I lost my little boy, he was officially my first Guinea Pig (by about 20 minutes while I chose which brother would join him). I miss so much about him, he used to follow me everywhere in the house and was always first to the fridge when I opened it begging for extra veg. We are still adjusting to life in the house without him but I thought it was finally time to put something on here about his passing.

I am so sorry. It does take a while to get used to them not being there. Sending you hugs.

I’m so sorry. Some piggies really burrow into your heart and leave a huge hole behind. How is his brother holding up? Popcorn free sweet Spencer.
 
He was a really handsome wee fellow. So sorry for your loss.
Will you get his brother another friend once you have had more time?
He must be missing the company too. Xx

His brother is ok, at first he actually seemed happier but then I noticed him going off his food and thats when I realised I definitely needed to step in and get him a new friend. I wasn't quite ready for a new pig as i felt like I was replacing Spencer but Morgan needed it. So about 3 weeks ago little Earl joined the clan, I'm slowly starting to get used to the new arrival. Morgan loves him already though and thats what matters.

Hi Janice, yeah Morgan has already got a new friend, :) I needed to make sure he would be happy so I made myself get a new pig even though I wasn't quite ready because I knew he needed some company. IMG_7872.webp

He was a beautiful one, His markings and coat were so nice! I definitely miss his little white striped face appearing from underneath the coffee table whenever a bag was rustled!

I know it can be hard but it wont be long until wee Morgan wins your heart too! Looks like a lovely wee boy and Morgan will be so happy to have company again!
 
Huge hugs, I am sorry sorry for the loss of your handsome little guy. Piggies may only be small but they leave a huge effect on our hearts. Remember he had such an amazing life full of love with you
