It has been two weeks since I lost my beautiful Daisy. It breaks my heart to say that whilst on holiday in Disneyland Paris I received a call from the vets to say that Daisy had collapsed and was no longer able to breathe on her own. I had to make the heartbreaking decision to end her suffering. She's been a part of my life for 6 years and I've been a part of hers since she was 4 weeks old. It absolutely kills me that I couldn't be there for her in her final moments. I miss seeing her adorable little face popping out of the hay when she realised I'd come to feed her and I miss her hearing her wheek the house down whenever I rustle a bag. I just miss her so much. RIP Daisy pig.

I know how you feel, we lost our Cosmos on Sunday, she had become such a big part of the caravanning cavies that along with losing Star in May it seems a huge hole has been ripped out of our holidays. Nova is rapidly taking on the mantle Star has left and hopefully we shall find another big pigsonality to fill the hole left by Cosmos. Hopefully you too will find a rescue pig to fill the hole left by DisneyPig. Check out Honeybunnies on facebook, I have.

I am so sorry. My heart breaks for you. I just lost my Ginger a couple days ago and I feel like it just gets worse every day. The silence is deafening. He was always the loud and confident one. Today on the dot was supposed to be the day I had him for two years. He was only a little over two when he died. It was unexpected and out of the blue. One morning he was fine and then after work I came home to see that he had passed away. Read the Rainbow Bridge Poems on this section of the forums. They have it pinned towards the top. They will make you cry but they gave me hope. Six is a long time and very old for a piggy. Be proud, you obviously gave her a great life and took good care of her. :luv: You and her are both absolutely beautiful..best wishes. :)
