RIP My beloved Reggie and Sheepy

It's been almost two months now since both of my boys passed away and only just really stopped sobbing at the thought of them so got a bit of strength to write here now.
I adopted my beautiful boys at the beginning of 2011 and they were best friends, inseparable! Sheepy was gorgeous and looked twice the size of Reggie but he didn't mind a good snuggle in the alpaca fur (and neither did I!) so occasionally looked as though he was sporting a wig on top of his smooth coat! He was a great 'Guide Pig' for Sheepy and such absolute soppy, cuddly boy. Sheepy wasn't as keen on my knee, preferred next to me on the sofa and a good chin rub! Think he must have held those bad hair cuts against me! But still loved his fuss in his special Sheep way!
Reggie passed away in front of me in the evening on the 10th of July. Sheepy said goodbye and so did I. Well, sort of.
Sheepy just couldn't take life without his best friend. His new friend Jessie tried to help but he wanted to join his Reg. He was sent over Rainbow Bridge on the 9th of August. Absolutely heartbreaking but I hope he's now happy and not in pain without the other pig that made his life complete.

It takes time hun to come to terms with it and you'll never forget your boys - I often still have a little cry over Sheila whom we lost in April but she's always in my heart. Can remember feeling so numb writing her Rainbow thread, was all so surreal 8... I take comfort knowing there's no more suffering and the brightest star in the night sky holds all of our special little fur loves, each and every one of them take a little piece of our hearts with them :) Sometimes, just going outdoors and looking at the sky helps...it's my way of dealing with her passing...it still hurts :(
Sheepy will be playing safe with Reggie and watching over you x>>

Popcorn together Reggie and Sheepy; you are leaving your mummy with a big hole in her heart, but also with some very precious memories!
 
I am so sorry you lost your babies. How tragic to lose them both so soon.
 
Huge hugs, your never stop missing the ones you lose. You just have to try and find a new kind of normal, but it still hurts.

I am sure they are together at the bridge now, remembering how much their mummy cherished them. Big hugs to you.

What a sweet message to them! They are snuggling together over the bridge now 8...
