I rescued “Van Dijk” about 3 years ago, he was in such a state after his last owners and was locked in a hutch on his own under a table, I took him in and introduced him to my pig who had lost his brother and needed a friend after a few weeks, to see the growth and the trust grow with every day was so rewarding and I’m so happy he had an enjoyable last few years with his best friend and I know he passed at 6 years old but it doesn’t make it any easier, I will miss you my friend and enjoy all those veggies and grass in heaven ❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
 
Aw, is Van Dijk in your avatar photo? I'm so glad you gave him a good life after the way he was living. Devastating to lose a much loved piggy :(
 
I’m sorry for your loss. 6 is a great age. You obviously took wonderful care of him. He knew he was loved every day he was with you and his friend. ❤️
 
I am so sorry for your loss. But it sounds like his last days were far happier than his first and not every piggy gets that. Sleep tight Van Dijk.
 
Sorry for your loss. It sounds like you gave him a brilliant life after the terrible start he had. It’s always tough losing a much loved piggy friend, so my thoughts are with you.

Yeah he is 🥺 on the right, it was very tough weekend but I now realise he’s not in any discomfort and he’s free
