My 4 year old piglet died yesterday morning. I've been hysterical, I have not been able to stop crying until recently and now I just feel numb. I've had her though so much, I feel like my heart's broken. It's such a shock too, she hadn't been drinking for a few days (but she'd been eating fine and acting normal) only she had been way more vocal than usual and I'd planned on taking her to the vets next week just to check it out and then yesterday morning I just happened to glance into her cage and saw she was tucked under her towels which is very unusual so I was immediately alarmed and upon closer examination I saw that she had died. She was happily running around on the floor a few days earlier. I'm gutted and very shocked, most of my previous guineas were either very old of very ill when they passed. A big shock and huge loss. I will love you always little one.

So sorry for your loss. It's so hard I know. I'm going through it myself currently.

If you ever need a chat feel free to drop me a pm.

so sorry to hear this; the loss of a piggy, sudden or otherwise, is an awful thing. We are all thinking of you x

very sorry for your loss , my hamster passed away over the weekend but he was very old 2 years 8 months so although it was expected its always sad i hope you feel better soon...

I am very sorry for the loss of your beautiful girl! Sadly, in these days of indiscriminate mass breeding I count every piggy that lives past their fourth birthday as happy.

RIP little girl - you carry a fair bit of your mum's heart with you!
