My two guinea pigs died yesterday at the same time. I only had them for 7 months and they were about 2 years old. They were outside in their pen for a little more then an hour while my mom cleaned their cage. When I got home they were both completely dead. It was around 80 degrees outside and there was a breeze, but it might have been heatstroke. They spent 8 hours outside before in similar weather and they were fine. I had two guinea pigs before and they were always outside in the summer and never had any problems. I noticed that the past couple of days my guinea pigs weren’t moving very much and there cage smelled very strange and bad, like bacteria. I didn’t think much of it though. I wonder if they were sick and then the heat was just to much for them. Or they could’ve died from shock. I feel so guilty and like the worse person ever. I could’ve prevented this from happening. I just wish they could still be here. I failed them and I feel like a terrible pet owner. I miss them so much and their gone too soon. Rest easy Pakston and Leo, I know that you’re safe now and popcorning with Nibbles and Peggy ❤️

Aww so sorry to hear that your two babies have gone over the rainbow 🌈 bridge, Guinea pigs are good at hiding illnesses, be gentle with yourself, thinking of you big hugs 🤗

I’m so sorry you have lost your piggies. Such a shock for you. Popcorn high at the bridge. Take care. ❤️

So very sorry that you lost both piggies so unexpectedly.
Holding you in my heart ♥️
Be gentle with yourself as you grieve
