Really sad day yesterday. We had to have our beloved Peppa put to sleep :(
I realised on Saturday that she seemed off her food, and then Sunday morning as she still seemed with drawn I decided to check her over and found a lump. Took her to the vets and he operated but it was a tumor and it had wrapped itself around her organs and her bowel, there was nothing he could do :(
She was only in our lives for 2 years but she will be missed, rest in peace sweet heart xx

Sorry for your loss of Peppa. It's really sad when their life is cut short like this. My thoughts are with you. xx

Thank you for all your support. Still cant help but feel guilty that if I had found the lump sooner she may of still been with us. Vet said that the lump could of appeared after it had already invaded the rest of her organs, but I still cant help feeling its my fault :(
 
so very sorry. sounds like how things happened with ches, although he never made it to the xrays. it's naturally to blame yourself, but that's just the grief. you acted quickly when you realised something was wrong. the lumps can show up quickly, and then things just seem to escalate from there very quickly. from me noticing the lump to ches passing it was about a day and a half. sometimes you act quickly but nothing can be done. it's so unbearably hard though, so sending you massive hugs x
