Can't believe my next post on here is so unexpected, after so long away I wish it was on a happier note.

This morning I lost my gorgeous little bundle of fluff :(

Some of you may remember me rehoming Polly about 2 years ago via this forum with her little friend Esther. She's been such a happy, noisy! and healthy little bundle for the whole time I've had her.

My mum woke up this morning to find that she must have had a stroke in the night and couldn't move at all, she had been a little off colour last night but nothing major and we had made a vets appointment for this morning. I rushed back from uni on the first bus to see how she was (was too late last night to get back sadly). We had made an appointment one for 10.30 but we didn't make it. I had her in my arms while she snuggled up before having a fit and falling asleep for the final time.

I'd only been back for about 30 minutes and holding her for the whole time, I think she held on so I could say goodbye. I was so pleased to be able to be holding her and I just hope she knows that I loved her so so so so much.

I miss you Polly, I promise we'll look after little Esther for you always :( x

Oh I am so sorry for your loss. It really sounds like she did want to say goodbye to you. She clearly loved you so much as you loved her.

So sorry to read this, but at least you got to say goodbye to her. RIP gorgeous girl. Popcorn free x

Oh no Charlie, I am so sorry :( What an awful unexpected shock. She couldn't have had a more loving or wonderful home than with you. Massive hugs mate x

Oh no! So sorry to hear of your very sad loss. You made her last two years very happy ones.

Thanks all for your kind words, I just can't really believe it as she was so young at only 2 :(
Poor baby but at least she can find my Tiffypig now and they can live happily (and noisily I'm sure!) together :)

You have lost them both far too young. I'll never forget little Tiffypig, I am sure they are snuggled up at the bridge together now. Love to all your girlies and you x
