Junior Guinea Pig
Along with my 6 piggy boys, me and my boyfriend also had 2 beautiful rattie boys.
Today Snoopy (known as Noop), who was the youngest at 1 1/2 years, passed away from a suspected URI.
He was an energetic little rat, who came to the cage door to play every single time we walked past! He loved his banana treats, and tickles on his tummy.
Noop had been quite lethargic for the past few days, but was still eating and drinking well. Today, when we took him out the cage to give it a clean, it was limp and very lifeless, and didn't want to move.
After laying him on some soft bedding, and watching over him, we knew that it was his time, and there was nothing more we could do
We sat with him, as his breathing got slower and slower and stroked his head as he took his last breath, with his best friend Nibbles at his side.
We are both absolutely devastated, and miss him so much already.
Snoopy was a brilliant pet, and will be greatly missed.
We now hope that Nibbles will be ok, on his own. He is already showing signs of depression
It just makes you realise how previous life is, and how much pets really mean to you. Run free little rattie!
Best of friends
enjoying the hammock
sharing with some of his guinea pig friends
Having a cuddle, the day before he passed away..
