My heart is literally breaking right now. I lost my beautiful 3 year old girl Squeak at 3am this morning. She'd been fighting an uphill battle with her health lately but she was always such a fighter that you can't help but think they will pull out one last miracle. Luckily I was there with her when she took her final breath. I can't even put into words how much this hurts right now, her character was one of a kind. What I would do for one more finger lick from her or a cuddle and a chin rub.

I've dreaded this moment for a very long time but nothing prepares you for the absolute heartache that comes with it.

Fly high and popcorn over rainbow Bridge beautiful girl. We will meet again 🌈❤️💔😭

What a beautiful girl with those big eyes! I'm sorry you have lost her, however old they are it always seems too early. Treasure your memories, she will be in your heart always 🌈
 
Sleep tight you beautiful girl. Now you’re over rainbow bridge tell my boys Leo and Dougal not to quarrel over you x
 
Thank you so much everyone. Haven't stopped crying all day. Just throwing away some of her medicine syringes started me off again.

I knew it would hurt but truly didn't realise just how much my heart would break for her. 😢💔
 
I’m so sad to hear you’ve lost Squeak - what a gorgeous girl - look after yourself and as you grieve remember all those lovely times and love. We’re all here for you x x
 
Sorry for your loss, please take a break for yourself and grieve. She had a good life with you, even if it was short, please remember this. It happens unfortunately (it happened to me this April with my Popi who was the same age as Squeak). That feeling when I found out she was dead might have been the worst feeling I have ever experienced. please don't ever blame yourself or think about what you may or may not have done wrong for it does more harm than good. I'm not sure if this will give you any sense of comfort, but I hope it does.

Honestly reading that has just made me cry like a baby because it is completely how I feel right now. Thank you for your lovely comment. It means so much to me right now. ❤️

She really was an absolute beauty. Could win anybody over with those eyes. 🥰

I am so sorry for your loss. You couldn't have done any more. Take care of yourself and give yourself time to grieve.
 
Thank you so much everyone. Miss her like crazy and still find myself calling her name, talking about her like she's still here etc. Think it will take a while for my head to get around it.

Just waiting to hear back from the vets so that I can collect her ashes. Fingers crossed its Monday. I've got a beautiful hand engraved urn to put her inside ❤️
 
I still talk to Ziuta about Popi,and I let her know how adopting a new friend is going. Good to know I'm not the only one.
