Our guinea pig of four years died overnight, just today. I noticed he did not drink water for a day or so but was still nibbling on his food. Poor baby never showed he was sick. My son and I are heartbroken. He was a sweet, happy, fiesty, piggy. We will miss you so much Lucky!

I'm so sorry :(

They do hide their illness very well. I hope his cage mate is ok. (if he had one)

Love and huggles to you and your little boy xx

So sorry for your loss

RIP Piggie

hi there

I lost my Guinea pig on the 3/3/2012, he was nearly 7 years old...I was devastated so I feel you pain, I still have 1 more, I have become so attached to him now, he is also 7, so I know its just a matter of time before he goes...this is my first post...I didn't realise there are so many guinea pig lovers...I thought I was the only one...

I'm so so sorry for your loss. Run free over the bridge Lucky, in the lush green meadows.

Also Rompom, sorry for your loss. RIP little piggy.

It's heartbreaking when you lose a piggy, or any animal for that matter. I remember when I saw my Frisky for the last time, she was only three. She passed in the night, poor little one, I wish I was there for her then.

Firstly i'd like to welcome you to the forum :)
Whee are so very very sorry to hear about your piggie Lucky 8...8...8...
RIP Lucky run free at the bridge, popcorn thru the lush green meadows and enjoy nibbling on dandelions and clover, you'll be sadly missed by your family but NEVER ever forgotten xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

They are such lovely little characters - I think it would take a hard heart NOT to be sad when they go on.
