rocket?

This might be a daft question but i just wanted to check. My mum was doing the shopping today and i rang her to see if she could pick me up some rocket for the pigs as they havent had it in a while anyway my mum picked up a bag of rocket leaves and talking to herself said oh thats for the guinea pigs when a man said guinea pigs aren't allowed rocket its a type of lettuce they can't have it my mum said my daughter looked online and found that its fine but not to give too much and not too often, he went on about how guinea pigs cant have it and how it was on a website saying it could harm them. I'm pretty sure its fine for guinea pigs but started doubting myself is rocket alright?

Also since i last came on here i have become the proud mummy to two more beautiful little boars xoxo i actually forgot how tiny baby guinea pigs were! i have got some photo's shall be uploading those some time soon |)

Rocket is perfectly safe for guinea pigs. Hope this help. Lucy x

I know what you mean about doubting yourself, I'm constantly having to check what we can feed our piggies..

I've now got that page as a favourite/bookmark in my web browser, and I just open the page, hit 'find' (CTRL+F), then type in the food, and it leaps straight to it.. I find it's a quick way to check if something is poisonous, or if you shouldn't feed too much of it.

I tend to buy that spinach, rocket & watercress salad in a bag - I figured as it's a mix of 3, they're not getting too much of anything. Also I tend to eat it as well.
