Update:

Took Rocky back on Tuesday for a drain. Gina spent 30 minutes out the back cleaning the abscess. She has - at my request - changed the antibio from Baytril to Zithromax. Since that change firstly the diarrhoea has lessened and secondly the whole character of the abscess has changed. Before the pus was thin and watery and hard to get out. Now it is the usual thick yellow-white pus we all know and love. Miles easier to push out at home. The abscess is shrinking in size too; must be a quarter of the original size. Poor Rocky also has an infected hand. Yesterday I saw her use her hand to wipe pus from the neck and I suspect this may be how that happened. I am now washing Rocky's feet and hands a lot too.

Rocky has done amazingly well, and thank you all for your interest and support.
