Rogan and Pixie my hamsters

Rogans a rescue hamster, we got him from a lady who took him from a friend who kept him in a tiny cage and fed him bread.Hes been with us about 10 days and settled in no problem.
Very sweet guy who has no problems being handled. We think hes about 12 months old. Hes such a change to having girls. Hes so calm when being handled

Next up, kinda new hamster. This is Pixie, gorgeous little girl bought for my sister who wanted a hanster for sometime but doesnt have the time so my mam told me to take her and Sophie didnt put up any fight so shes ours now.
Shes about 4 months old and has masses of energy.What you might not be able to tell, is she is a tort. I think if I remember rightly when I asked before shes a Banded Golden Umbrous tort

That my two gorgeous hammies, Pixie will be getting a ZZ1 and Wodent wheel as soon as I can.

Ahhhh and awwwwww and aahhhhh x) x) Hamsters! Overnight i seem to have become addicted to hamsters....your hamsters are beautiful x) Rogan is a sweetie, and i love Pixie, her name suits her well! :))

I know what you mean though. Before my previous hammie Kit I hadnt had a hamster since I was a kid. I just cant get enough of them now, this gorgeous pair are just wonderful. Was so happy when Alex said she was ok to come and stay as long as when we move I can organise them.
Mam has spare wood, enough to make a shelving unit to house both hamsters, our mice and a large storage box undereath to keep everything in.
 
Awww they are addictive arent they? I would love to adopt another one (currently pursuading the OH) I've never had hamsters before only dogs when i was younger :)

Ooo the shelving unit sounds lovely, funnily enough we went to ikea today to find a shelving unit to fit the zz1 on....:)) Hope the building of the new unit goes well!

Finger crossed it does. Its a simple idea I have really.
20cm at the bottom for the storage box, then 2 shelves with 40 cm between for the hammy cages and one final shelf at the top for the mice.

Doing this as iv looked and I cant find any units that fit the exact diamensions I want, so figured since mam said I could use it id make my own.
Only have to buy 24 screws so about a £1, going to paint it white so it matches with everything.

Will look nice as hoping to get both hamsters in the same cage, same colour and even have matching wheels lol

They are both beautiful.

I know what you mean, I couldn't imagine my life without hamsters.
 
Such lovely hamsters! Snuffles to them from Holly (Syrian) and Elvis (Chinese).
