Roger hates leaving his cage

This is nothing new for him, but is it weird that Roger hates being anywhere besides his pigloo, snug in the cage. Almost as soon as I put him out for floor time, he stares at me (his way of telling me he wants to go back) or sits in the corner, and mostly ignores whoever is also out with him. He isn't sick; this has always been the case, but I just wish i knew what I could do to let him enjoy it more. George and Piglet love to come out, so I really don't know what the difference is. :{

Some piggies are more nervous than others. Putt used to do this at run time. We used to make the run with lots of hideys to encourage her to move between them. Piggies eh?! rolleyes

My Cariad is also a cage hugger; during a clean, I have to evict her at least three times, or close the pen access until the cage is ready again. Even a new fleece can seriously throw her!

You get the adventurous ones and those that prefer their familiar surroundings and things just as they always are... a bit like humans in that respect! rolleyes

LOL well I'm glad to hear that Roger isn't the only recluse pig.
