Junior Guinea Pig
Today we built Roger his new C&C cage. It's 5x2 with a 1x2 hayloft.
It's a bit bare at the mo as we're hopefully getting his girlfriends next weekend so I didn't want to give him too much to get possessive over.
Here he is in the hayloft. He was too busy foraging to realise he had a whole load more cage to explore!

Exploring downstairs
You might have noticed that the cage is raised. This is so that the rabbits can have their house underneath. They have free range of the rest of the room (an area of about 5 foot by 8 foot in all).
I plan to open up the left side of the underneath and turn it into a play room for the rabbits and others when they free range (we also have rats, chinchillas and degus). It'll be filled with toys and a digging pit.
It's been a long day getting all that done in the heat but very very worth it to have happy little people.
