Rolling around

[Under the weather]

I just went to give the pigs some veggies, and found Twoflower rolling around in the hay on her back (a bit like dogs do when they find something particularly smelly!). At first I thought she was having some sort of fit, but as soon as I put the veg in (seemed like the quickest way to free up my hands), she was up and scoffing as normal. Is this normal behaviour for a guinea pig? I have to go in to work today so I can't keep an eye on her - possibly just being a little paranoid... :{

I certainly hope she was having fun! I'd just never seen her do it before, so it was a bit of a surprise.

Both my girls sometimes do something similar but on their sides. I first thought they were fitting but I think theirs is like an extreme popcorn and just getting over excited. They seem to do it when they are having some fun time too, or if I've put a new cuddle cup in their cage

I have one that does that before he curls up to rest, I wondered about it too. He rolls on his back.
