Bless, he looks tiny in that big run!
Does he have a friend or does he live alone?

Maybe an idea to get him a friend or he will be lonely.

he does look abit lost in there on his own put couple of things in so he can explore them

He's such a lovely boy and what a great run!

Can you make him a few huts and hidey-holes or tunnels from old shoeboxes, soapboxes or other cardboard boxes with one or two "doors" cut out? Or peg a towel over the top to give him more protection or use a sheet of mdf? He'll need lots of shade on a sunny day, so he doesn't overheat!

One of the main danger for wild guinea pigs are birds of prey; that's why they are instinctively very wary of open spaces and love overhead protection. Ronald will be happier to explore his new run that way - he can learn to dart from one place to the other and explore from there.

When he is happily settled in a few weeks, he may come up to the mesh for some grass from you; you can train him in his indoor cage - grass is always a great treat!

he lives on his own because he was on his own in the pet shop and looked like he needed so love

Ronald is adoreable. What a great run you have made for him. He is very lucky to have found such a loving forever home..

It's a terrific size run, and if you're very careful the way you move it around your grass, you might never need to use a lawnmower again!

I don't! I used mine last year in spring, and it's gone in the attic now...

You are looking reallt well afer Ronnie, and he will be a really happy piggie! Just give him some days to settle in the new run - any new territory is a bit frightening at first!
