I just wanted to check it was nothing to worry about. Rose has been humping and chasing Rosie who has been rumbling away. They were sniffing each other’s noses and Rose walked off and then Rosie shot a jet of wee right past her. The other day I am sure Rosie kicked out at Rose.

Somebody is in season! We have a more extreme version going on here with hormonal Piggle... have you considered getting them a neutered husboar? Husboars rejoice in getting hormonally harumphed at and pee sprayed in their eyes, at least our Theo does, he's such a tolerant and submissive little guy :)

I was thinking about a husboar but the local rescue does not like having them neutered and I don’t really have the time to have a separate boar while I go through the neutering process.

I was wondering which one would be in season Rose who is humping the hell out of Rosie or Rosie who is rumbling and grumbling and spraying wee everywhere?

Possibly both! Sounds like both, I believe (@Wiebke knows most about this) that ladies who live together often come into season together or very soon after each other... maybe I'm just a romantic but I really think your girls need a lucky rescued neutered husboar, there are so many sad lonely unwanted boars out there and they are so funny to keep and its so adorable watching them trying to romance the ladies and getting it wrong!

The madness was over tonight and Rosie was licking rose. I am definitely getting another piggie a husboar would be a great addition. Waiting unti the weather is warmer before I adopt a piggie.

That is perfectly normal behaviour for a sow in season. If the problem lasts for longer than just a day or two in adult sows, please see a vet for possible ovarian cysts.
