Hi

Rose and Rosie are nearly a year old and have really settled into the piggie palace in the shed. I have been taking it really steady with them to interact with them and it has really paid off both piggies except a stroke of the nose and head rubs especially around clean outs, hay top ups and breakfast and dinner time! Today I pushed my luck and went to pick them up without the tunnel I used to use and really upset them. I could kick myself. After a short while I went back to see them and apologise and thankfully no harm done and both still came for strokes! I have attached some pictures of the girls with their new hat trough at feeding time (I hid the veggies in it!)7CCCB5BC-3306-4C29-A62A-E35143D8D9AC.webp48281393-A1E2-4834-93A3-96BFC5B716EF.webp5E9A1C95-F9C3-4BA3-8C1F-64E4183716ED.webp4B714E91-5922-445A-83FD-9840FD9F2CF3.webp33205BCD-E4DB-40E1-AE52-BB0A47C33A23.webp948A0977-BDED-4282-A279-85D5EDCCBC83.webp7C6C6CA5-942E-416C-BB38-24DB07D31553.webp

Gorgeous piggies. Your girls are getting used to you, they forgave you quickly for forgetting the way they liked to be picked up. We all make mistakes sometimes, piggies can be such fussy but funny little creatures sometimes.

I have a pair of 4 year olds who have to be picked up in a cat carrier. I put the carrier in the cage and they have to go up the ramp into their hay loft then come down, Spike first and into the carrier. If I put the carrier in when they are already in the loft they have to come down then up again. There is no hurrying this procedure or cutting stages out, if I try or forget the way things are done I'm shunned for days.

they look like my piggies with long hair! So cute xx

all piggies need time to adjust and they forgive for mistakes we make quickly!
