The girls are really settling down and becoming more adventurous and brave every day....especially with some veggie treats! Both girls have had their first lap time and both seemed to enjoy it. Unfortunately as I inspected Rose I found a bald dry patch on her leg. She is going to the vets tomorrow so hopefully she can have some treatment to fix it. She is very happy in general and very frisky still.

Good luck at the vets. It’s always a worry when you find these things, but usually they are easily sorted.

It looks like she has been scratching and made it sore. Both girls are having some medicine to clear up any mites. Both have been really brave and it definitely looks like the way to a guinea pigs heart is food and patience.
