Hi, I hope people know about these. Can I give my piggy rose hips straight off the rose tree or do they have to be dried or seeds and fluff (I dont know what it is called) from the inside scraped out. I have quite a few rose hips on the bushes in my front garden.
Thanks
Ian

Ok as long as de-thorned

Thanks. There are no thorns on the rose hips. These are the red buds left over when a rose flower is finished. I dont know if they are supposed to be dried or given whole.

Piggies can eat rose hips straight from the bush. I found this out and posted it on another thread on this forum.

My dogs help themselves to rosehips in the garden and when we are out walking, and blackberries too.
