Has anyone had dirt & small stones in there forage box?

Yes we did - it's all part of the 'natural' experience apparently.

I did get one for Oreo's Christmas presents. He ignored the inside forage bit after a few days so I binned that and kept the box and filled it with hay. He loved lying in it but ruined it after peeing on it.

Only got it to keep them all occupied whilst I introduce the boar.

Mine had one a few months ago. They ate bits and then after a few hours just used it as a litter tray, I had to throw it out the next day.

Hmmm maybe I'll return it & buy some tunnels. I don't like the idea of the stones in I'd be frightened they'd pick one up & choke.

I didn't have any stones in mine but it was quite expensive for what it is. You could just get some good quality hay and scatter some petals over it and you'd pretty much have the same thing.
