My oldest piggy Rosie is about 3 and I didn't used to weight them often until I found out on the forum to do it every week. I started weighing them a few weeks ago to find out that Rosie was 300grams lighter than about 9 months ago. She was 811g then the next week was 840g but now this week she is 799g. She is still eating fine and is very active which is why I haven't posted till now, it was when I saw she had lost that 40g that I started to be a bit worried. I take her away from the other two and feed her oats and dried peas and corn from the wagg food every day. Is there anything else I can do?

Have you treated her with an anti parasitic drug and a worming solution?

40g is about 1.5oz - not too bad. You will need to find out if it is a continual weight loss though. A 1.5oz loss is ok for one week, but if it happens repeatedly then it is a concern. Perhaps consider weighing once every second day for the next week, see if she is losing gradually all the time.

Just keep an eye on her to see whether it's just a fluctuation or a trend.

Two drops of Ivomec, as the anti=parasitic.
Six drops of Panacur, as the worming solution.
It is safe to use both drugs together.
