My gorgeous girl Rosie has had some issues lately with URIs. She started breathing loudly so went on a course of Baytril as she had signs of an infection. Her breathing got better and the issues seemed to have passed. A few days later see started breathing loudly again so back to the vet she went the infection was back but in her chest this time so back on a longer course of antibiotics. She was back at the vet on saturday signs of infection are gone but she still sounds bad. Anyone had this happen? Rosie is 4 so not a young pig but is happy in herself despite the sound.

Sorry to hear Rosie is poorly, maybe worth speaking to the vet regarding a course of a diuretic such as furosomide, this can remove any fluid from the lungs. it worked with Cookie recently after a course of AB's didnt clear an URI up

Lots of healing vibes to her x

I agree with Sport Billy, diuretics can work wonders and it's worth speaking to your vet about them. Bisolvon is also good if your pig seems snotty. It may also be worth considering a different type of antibiotic if the Baytril is still not working after the full course.
