I let my piggies roam free around the garden while I watch them like a hawk. So dinner was ready and I didn't want to leave them unattended.

Technique one - hope they get bored and go in - nope

Technique two - clap and try to get them to run in - failed they all ran in the wrong direction

Technique three - this is genius I thought... There was a salad package I had left in there the night before.
So I rustle and there is a chorus of squeaking. Three piggies come in... Rambo and Patch are squeaking are looking through the main shed door. Idea not working because I have piggies running around looking for food. So I try and poke the pain in the butts in that didn't work! Started running circles around me.
So I'm stumped... Dinner is ready. And out comes the OH with bag of coriander!

That worked nice pile of noms. First Lucky, Maple, Pecan and FINALLY Rambo and Patch! Blocked off the door and managed to run around the shed to close the guinea pig door and success!

Lesson that has been learnt - bloody piggies are smarty pants!

Luckily mine have trained themselves to come out of the run straight into the carrying case. As soon as I put the case down about a metre from the door they know what's going to happen & when I open the door they troop out one by one & go straight to the carrying case. We only have a lawn in the front garden so my neighbours think it's hilarious. Will have to do a video of it as soon as I starting putting them in their run again.

Well my two will happily go in their box when i ask them to after the indoor pedicure & pamper session, but they are a little more hesitant when it means cutting grass time short in the summer, When their box is put outside. xx

When it comes to the carrier... I can't get them to go into the pet carrier but they will quite happily walk out of it :D
