Hi all! I have two boars, and I have recently noticed their playtime “routine” and it’s so cute. In the evening time, I’ll give them another round of hay if they need it. Winston likes to play while Al eats, then goes to lay down for a nap. Then Al will do an extensive running session where he popcorns and sprints laps around the cage, careful to dodge his adoptive brother. Then, the absolute cutest thing happens...they share a house when they sleep! I think it’s so cute to watch them play by themselves at night. During the day, they play with each other

It is cute to watch their daily routine! Mine know the routine better than I do... one of the kids give them hay in the morning, my son gives them a treat when he gets up and again when he gets home from school, so they know his footsteps and get excited when he comes down the stairs. In the evening I let them out for a run around and some fresh food, so every time I squeak my chair in the evening they wheek to 'remind' me to let them out. And then they snuggle on my lap for a bit after snack time (if I try to pick them up before they won't sit still because they are excited for snacks!) They will share a pigloo together at night, but during the day they take turns in the pigloo. It's cute how they know what's coming next!

Mine also know their own routine better than I do. 6:15am without fail whether I’m awake or not, “wheek?” “WHEEK?” “WHEEEEKWHEEEKWHEEEEK!” Time for their nuggets.. No lay in for piggy slave

My lot tell me off atm. Dennis needs 2 lots of eyedrops 3 times a day for bad haypoke so they don't get their nightly veg until the 2nd lot of eyedrops have gone in. Which is later than normal. Only by half an hour but the air is positively blue. Pleased I don't speak Guinea Pig!

That's hilarious. I'm not a morning person so my piggies get nuggets at night.
