I have been waiting for a parcel to arrive, with the last bits to post off to my Secret Santa Piggy. I'm sure the postman waits round the corner for me to go out! I just picked a time to nip out for 30 mins to go to the farm to get hay, when I thought he is not usually around, and guess what...the note through the door..you were not in when we called etc....timed at THREE minutes after I went out. I can pick up my parcel from the sorting office in 24 hours, so my S S piggy is having to wait again. mallethead mallethead
I was so cross, to get rid of my frustration, I have been in the piggy shed with the CD player on loud, having a Carol Service with my piggies, The Three Tenors and me! Usually when I am in there they are all out, saying "hi". Just now, every hidey hole for 16 pigs had full occupancy, I'll swear Stephen even had his paws over his ears, whilst I was trying to reach to top notes of Hark the Herald Angels sing. Archie was even howling in the garden, and all the birds went silent. Think I will have to go and give out a few treats now and give some cuddles. Although when they see me coming, they will all run off again thinking I'm returning for an Encore! :(|)

I think maybe piggy ear plugs all round? ;)

Honestly it's so annoying when that happens, I swear the posties lurk in the bushes waiting for you to go out so they can say they missed you when they probably never even brought the parcel in the first place but wanted you to collect it all along.

Are you sure that it is not your singing that acts as a postman repellant? :))
 
those poor pigs having to be forced to listen to that noise!think I'm going to contact a rescue to come save them:)
 
Singing got as far north as Paisley. Had to replace my windows but otherwise unharmed.:))

My postie doesn't even bring the parcel, he nonchalantly pops the card through the door when I'm there! I've ran down the street to catch him and he makes up some garbage about trying to deliver the day before.

Next time he's gonna end up tied up in my garage forced to listen to a tape of Nutmeg's Greatest Hits! :p

Mine does exactly the same thing, even though I was in the entire day before, always thought it was the 3 flights of stairs that put them off, but maybe its just a Scottish Postie thing :(|):(|)

I was up in Scotland yesterday Christmas Shopping, I could have come and given you a private rendition. I'm sure you and your postie would love my version of White Christmas. I accompany myself on the paper and comb! :(|) x
 
I think the posties plan it :))

You can spend ALL day waiting for a package and the second you pop out, they come rushing to the door all "They aren't in! Run for it!" :))
