Some people wanted to see my piggies in my introduction thread, so here's some pictures of them! (Hopefully these aren't too big photos)

Crispin

My first piggy (in this herd) ! He's 3 years old this year and is getting a bit grumpy now. Here he is cuddled up in the sunshine :) He loves to discover new things and is the cleverest of my piggies, so is usually the piggy I test new toys out on. Since he's the cleverest I taught him how to spin in a circle for food! He has a head for heights, so I can usually find him sat on top of his house. He originally lived with his litter mate Duke, who died at Christmas in 2012 due to an unexpected stroke :( Since then he has been living with Truffle.

Truffle

Trying to hide in this photo as I was trying to cut his nails (which he doesn't like.) Truffle lives with Crispin and absolutley loves him. Truffle follows Crispin around everywhere and tries to cuddle with him, but doesn't always get far. Crispin just wants to be left alone some times! He's a shy boy and can be quite nervous of new things, but his curiosity usually gets the better of him so he has to go look at new things. He hates having his fur brushed and would be much more content if I just let him play in dirt instead. I think his breed is Sheltie? Although the lady I got him from said he was a Peruvian.

Charlie

Charlie along with his litter mate Raf where two little pigs that I adopted as friends for an old lonely guinea I had named Marlon. (More on him later!)
He and his brother got on well enough before they had a big fight one day and had to be separated, now he lives alone. :( He is a very nervous pig, which I suspect may of had something to do with why he was at the rescue center. It's safe to say he's scared of his own shadow. Everything frightens him! I've tried my best to make him completely tame and to instill some confidence in him, but for whatever reasons he just won't calm down like my others. He is quite happy playing with his toys alone now, and I do my best to make sure he a lot to play with so he doesn't get too bored. Charlie has to highest pitched squeak in the group and is the pig I can hear wheeking from my window.

Raf

Raf is Charlies litter mate and got on well with him before their big fight. He is a little nervous but no where near as scared as Charlie. He seems to prefer to spend his days in the darkest corners of his cage only coming out at feeding times. Raf always has water on his face from sticking his head too far into his water bowl! (I use bowls not bottles!) Raf also has a broken nail on his back right leg as it somehow came off one day and now it won't grow back.. (It doesn't bother him though!)

I went out one day with no intention to buy a guinea pig and came home with this little guy. His cheeky face was too much to resist! At first I didn't have a spare cage to keep him in, so I kept him in my bedroom for the first few days while I build another cage. He's a complete attention seeker and will nibble at his bars and squeak whenever you are near until you pay attention to him. He's very attached to his soft toy guinea pig, and often sleeps cuddled up to her :) He's also a very deep sleeper, and you can poke him a few times before he realizes that you're there.

I took in this piggy a few years ago from a lady who actually lived up the road from me! She said that his friend had died and that she wanted him to live with other pigs so she gave her to me. We tried to bond him with two of our other boars, but it didn't work out. Then we adopted too very young Guinea pigs (Charlie and Raf!) and let them live together for a while. Marlon took good care of the little ones and cleaned them and cuddled with them! Eventually they got too big for the cage they were in and started to squabble, so we moved Charlie and Raf out and let him live the rest of his retirement in peace :) He was about 6 years old when we got him, and we had him for just under a year. The "friend" he had lived with turned out to be a rabbit, so he had never really met another guinea pig until he came to me! He was very fond on Gooseberries :)

Duke

Poor Duke died a few years ago from an unexpected and nasty stroke. Like I said in my introduction thread, that was the reason I left the forum. :( He was such a sweet little piggy and it's sad that he didn't get to experience all the things I've done with my other pigs. He used to enjoy his nose being petted.

Prior to these, my starter pigs where 4 females in a double floored cage. Unfortunately I don't have many photos of them as I never thought to take any ;^;

What stunning boys you have. It was lovely to hear all about them. I am so sorry you lost Duke.

Sleep well beautiful Duke  Sorry for your loss

All your piggies are stunning, thanks so much for the introductions to them.

I love this photo!

Gorgeous piggies and wonderful photos. I love Rory's fur, it reminded me of waves on the sea!
Strange, I can see the big photos but not the one just above next to sport_billy.
