hello,

i had my rspca visit on friday and on saturday they said everything was ok. so tonight afterwork i pick up ambrosia from rickmansworth.

i am going to keep her separate from Pickle for a couple of days, just so that she can get used to the new sounds of her new home. then its up to Pickle and Ambrosia to see if they like each other!

i really hope they do! :))
 
Best of luck!

I always keep a newbie next door for a few days so they can get the hang of their new home and meet their new mates through the bars. That takes quite a few additional stress factors out of the bonding proper.

Pickle has been so lonely since Rita died. Ambrosia is 4years old and pickle is 3 and a half, so i am hoping that because they are both the same age and have both lost people they love they will have lots to talk about! Pickle was such a chatter box, but since Rita died she hardly talks at all.

i don't want to get to get too excited incase it doesn't work, but i can't help it! i pick her up after work at 5pm. :(|)
 
Congratulations! love her name very unusual and pretty. Hope she settles in well and bonding goes well
 
They will be just happy about having company next door! It pays taking it more slowly with piggies that are not young; they have their quirks and big personalities.
