Ruben's got a lump on his bum

My ruben who is 10 week old (11 weeks on monday) he has got a lump on the left side of his bum
i noticed the other week it was little bit red but didnt think it was anything i got him out yestoday for cuddles and i sow that it was somthing and is rathr big i bathed it with some water yestoday i got him out again today and it has a got a little bigger from yestoday and i also noticed on the right side of his tummy he has a little bit of a sacab under his hair which I'm thinking may be he start of mites or a fungle infection he is going to the vets tomorow at 11.30am

apart form that he is a happy piggie he is the biggest out of his 3 borther who was born on the 31st april and he loves his food etc

its quite warring if its geting bigger

has anyone eles had any problem like this etc
 
:) I would take him to the vets to the lump looked at, just to see what sort it is and then monitor it or treat it as advised :)
 
I agree with Karen, there are just so many different kinds of things it would be, its best to have the vet tell you what you need to do O0
 
the lump looks samller this moring and the scaby he had on his tummy has nerally gone too

the shompoo what i have got the GG Says you cant use on piggies under 12 weeks but he will be 11 weeks tormow

i have been wipeing it with some wrom water tho
 
Maybe just holding him under the tap and rinsing him will help until he can have a shampoo :)
 
Yes, but only if you're comfortable doing it :) It washes the eggs off. If he's not bad wait till he can be shampooed that get more off :)
 
hes not that bad really and it is getign better allready

it took the vet about 5 min to give him an injection of anitbuoticoes
 
there put him sone gel stuff on his back for the mites but there is a bit of it was is infectied whats why he need anitbuoticoes
 
oh its getting better and better now

he cant be that bad anywhere he jumped on top of his pigloo for the first time today
