Ruby has gone to Rainbow Bridge

Sadly we had to make the decision this morning to let Ruby go to be with Angel. We took her to the vet, but we knew before we left what we had to do....she had deteriated during the night.
On examination the vet found she was blind, also deaf, kidney failure and was in discomfort, due to her age, we had to let her go. The vet said he didn't think she would last very much longer, but I didn't want what time was left to be in pain.
OH is also as upset as I am, he is now burying her in the garden beside Angel.
I just want to thank everyone who has been so kind with help and advice over the last few days and I wish you and all your little piggies well.

What sad news. You did everything you could for your little princess and I know your decision must have been difficult. Ruby will now be running free at Rainbow Bridge with all the other piggies and will have know how much you all loved her. So very very sorry..
 
AWW Margret I'm so sorry. I know you were rooting for Ruby and doing all you could for her.

I'm glad she didn't suffer and it's a credit to you that she lived so long and such a comfortable and loving life.

I am very sorry to that you had to make the most heartbreaking decision of them all - it is so devastating! 8...8...8... But you did the right thing in sparing Ruby any further pain and discomfort. Sometimes, it is not to be...

I am so sorry, Margret. You did good by her, find some comfort in that she is reunited with Angel. Big hugs to you and your OH.

I'm so sorry to hear about Ruby. 8... its so sad 8...8...
Remember she had a good life and now she is painfree and running over rainbow bridge with Angel.
