Ruby has smelly urine.

Also forgot to add she has lost about 100g over two weeks, it may be a little less as I'm sure she was weighed in the evening 2 weeks ago.
 
Well, the vet visit told me what I knew already but it is nice to be reassured.
We are still thinking inflammatory cystitis and and are treating with metacan for several days and for further flare ups with metacam.
If it continues we can take her in for the day for an xray- without GA or sedation. They use an upturned box with the bottom cut out to keep them still and they don't seem to move she said.

I think it is just going to be a problem that reoccurs over time, and managing it when it flares up.

This is very much what Treacy-Bum had. Often a few dose of metacams would sort her out, if it didn't we'd be off to the vets looking for UTI normally. Hope she feels better soon x
