Rude people on Facebook!

Some random person commented on my page that Kenny was a disgusting animal. I also had a post in my newsfeed saying why would anybody adopt a guinea pig, rescue guinea pigs are "damaged", "mental" and you can't bond with them. :(

Just block and delete. =)

Those people are obviously morons and have never actually had a guineapig as a pet or if they did all they did was toss them in the garden in a cage and feed them food and that was it.

You get what you give from an animal, any animal.
 
Kenny is gorgeous. Some people are just totally ignorant. Please take NO notice of them at all.
 
I've had people asking why I would want guinea pigs too. They are idiots :) Kenny is lovely!
 
Some people are just nasty. Kenny is beautiful! Delete/block them and forget them...some people are so pathetic. x
 
It's rather hurtful when people say things like that. I don't know why anyone finds it necessary to be so rude. I think that Kenny is altogether handsome and charming, and I would love to cuddle him! I also think that it's extremely rewarding to bond with a rescue guinea, and they're certainly not "mental" - what rubbish some people talk, they don't know what they're going on about!
 
Kenny is beautiful. What horrible people there are out there. That is very hurtful but total rubbish.I am on a penpal site and often get people saying they will eat my rabbit.
 
Kenny is an adorable little boy. Just ignore them. Easier said than done but I've had to get pretty thick skin with some of the things I am sent by trolls on the piggies blog. Including a link to a youtube video of a snake eating a live guinea pig. I actually threw up afterwards. There are some horrible, evil people out there who just aren't worth your time or worry. Block and delete them. There are always going to be horrible people but if you ignore them they will go away

I believe those people are what would be called "trolls".

Usually insignificant little people with no joy in life, so they go out of their way to make other people equally as miserable, always seem to have a misplaced belief that you're anonymous on the internet, when in actual fact it's trivially easy to find someone's real identity.
 
Yes, they are just Trolling. Some people have nothing else to do with their time than be nasty to strangers. I am a firm believer in what you put into life you get out, these people with all their negative energy are very sad individuals. Take no notice Kenny is amazing and some mindless keyboard warrior is only jealous because they have no enjoyment in their lives.

You can really lock your Facebook down on security settings too, so only your friends can see anything you post.

what? Ignore them some very sad people out there. How can they say such a thing. Block and delete all the way.
 
This is why I don't have facebook! I've reached 46 with out the want or desire to indulge in the place. Speaking to police friends, it causes a lot of work for them.
 
Those messages are dreadful.. But your piggie is gorgeous! You shouldn't take nasty messages on Facebook or any other social network serious. Some people could be jealous or just.. very nasty when they comment on people's pictures. There will always be nasty people in this world unfortunately. It's also like some people say: " You guinea pig! You will get no where in Life, ha! " :( I. Absolutely. Hate. It.

But don't worry, he is totally gorgeous!And those cute piggie lips! Naww! He reminds me of a guinea pig at a shelter named Big Joe.. He was a black coloured piggie - That LOVED carrots! :))

I think also you need to look at your security settings so only added people who you regard as 'friends' can comment on a photo.

He is lovely by the way.

I think rescued animals make lovely pets you get back what you give.

rescued dogs I believe do know when they have a new loving home.

Thanks, he is sweet and is very loving. I know, they are just hiding behind a Facebook page. I think the same person is posting stupid messages on rescue pages too.

I have a public page for my pigs (my profile is private). They needed their own Facebook as their pictures were taking over mine! I did delete and ban though.
 
There just morons that have nothing better to do with there time they clearly haven't had the pleasure of living with a guinea pig to know how wonderful they are ,one thing is every body on this site is very n ice and kind and I haven't come across a rude word yet x
 
How Rude, he is quite clearly adorable! All 4 of my boys are rescues and they are amazing....my big ones are quiet little gentlemen and my new boys are the biggest chatterboxes! Adopting them has quite honestly been the best thing I have ever done, they bring me so much joy. Block and delete the haters :D
 
I joined Facebook in March at my brothers request. I deleted my account within a few months as I found the whole thing depressing having to make sure I 'liked' things on there, I didn't miss it at all.
 
Four of mine are sort of rescues.Unwanted up for rehoming. I don't have facebook.Text or ring people I want to speak to and to be honest this forum is my equivalent of face book.If I need advice or support I come on here.My 12 year old daughter is on facebook (closely monitered by big sis and big brothers and me, they know her password so can get in anytime to check) and an older guy 30 ish tried to add her as a friend.He qas told
 
Kenny is gorgeous! I simply block/report people who make very rude remarks on my fb piggy page. It's simply not worth doing those people the favour of getting heat up about them - after all, all they are out for is to get a reaction; it's not about the subject at all. They are known as "trolls"; people who deliberately spoil things and cause controversy.
 
My Facebook is locked up and only for friend viewing.

kenny is beautiful he looks like my tom, i get the same if its not a dog, why get it people ask me, and i always say dogs dont give the same love and care as a piggie gives, piggies also have more character than dogs thats my own personal review
