Rules of Breeding on this Forum.

What are the rules of breeding on this forum, memebers seem to be ok with babies being born into piggy familes, but not breeding. Isn't baby piggies being born breeding?
This is just a question, EXAMPLE: i wish i had babies again, and could breed one of my girls through the females and i'd keep the babies as my own piggy family, are memebers ok with that? Or are they against breeding all together.
I am extremely confused!

I don't know about 'Rules' as such - maybe somebody who has been on the Forum for longer can help - but my personal opinion is that, when there are so many piggies already in existence, sitting in rescues waiting for homes (or even being advertised privately), then it is a great pity to deliberately create more pigs. I think if you have room for more piggies you should try to offer a home to an existing pig or pair which need a home. I guess it's tempting when you have a much-loved pig, to want to breed in the hope that the babies will be like their parent -? But I think if you take in a needy pig you would be doing a real kindness. (Provided you can really care for it, but if there is any doubt about that, all the more reason not to breed.

Some people - those who do rescuing - take in sows which are already pregnant, which is, of course, quite a different matter.

Not intentional breeding on many accounts, so just accidental pregnancies
