Its really quite funny to watch. But I'm not sure whether its a good thing or a bad thing. The older male will go up to the younger male and rumble at him. Then they will both make a funny squeak and bounce in the air, and go back and do it again?! They do it in the run&Hutch.
Their ages are 10 weeks and 5 months.
Is this a bad thing or are they playing?

I'm glad its a good thing, I'm actually so relieved!
It really is funny to watch. Funny little boys. Lets hope they all get along that well.

I was confused by this type of behaviour as well. One of my boys would wiggle its bum, chase the other around the cage and then go off popcorning by himself. The other piggie just looked at him. There have been a couple of times where they will chase and there's squeaking but then they go back to their house together and hang out.

That is EXACTLY what my guinea pigs are going through at the moment!
Looks like one is chasing the other like he wants to kill him, but then all of a sudden he will popcorn and run the other way. Lol, funny to watch as long as know one will get hurt.

Oh my piggies do this ALL the time, crazy boys.

But they'll popcorn into each other and then get all angry and a few times one starts humping the other and the one on the bottom popcorns and it's like buckaroo !

Haha.!
Glad mine aren't the only ones who do it.!
Thought i had freak guinea pigs. I have 6, 3 pairs. And Their the only ones that do it. The others just rumble at eachother and strop off. Except for my middle aged ones who are scuffling at the moment, but they havent hurt eachother yet. A few scabs but nothing major. Just being stroppy teens
