Hello!

I have 2 gorgeous baby boars, only had them a month an a bit, named Loki and Thor.
If you rub/scratch Thor/Loki in the right places he will rumble/purr.
I think this is a good sign as if he is enjoying it, my bf says he is angry/annoyed at it.
If he was annoyed surely he would teeth chatter or nip me as a warning?
Does anyone's piggies rumble/purr when getting attention?
Is it good or bad?

Hey, I use jackiespiggies frequently for help and advice, i just wondered what people thought of the rumbles/purrs, and if your piggies like it, nip or run away.

Loki just rumbles for a few seconds and stays still, Thor can just sit there, start rumblestrutting , go on his side, or move away.

Is it possible for you to video it? It is so hard to know what sound you mean. Gentle chatting and cooing is a sign they are enjoying being stroked.

Loki is a right chatterbox, he doesn't shut up! Always chattering about something or other.
Thor is.....very quiet, i do worry about to sometimes on how quiet he is.

The purring i would say is very similar to the rumble they make when rumble-strutting, or greeting each other in the cage.

Some piggies are very quiet. They are all different. I would say that is a noise he does not like it.
