Just want to pay tribute to my 7 year old boar Polo who I lost today.

Polo was my first ever true rescue, i got him from a man immigrating and needed to get rid of him in 3 days. The poor boy (approx 4 at the time) was in a state when i got him. He had cystitis, skin issues (likely mites), cheilitis, respiratory infection and was severely underweight. I didn't expect the poor boy to last long. And here we are 3 years on. He passed away peacefully in his sleep this morning whilst still munching hay. He was a lovely boy with a big personality and I'll miss him terribly (as will his cage mate Merlin).

Rest in peace my special guy. :0

Poor little Polo. I'm so sorry for your loss Abi. It's so sad, but at least he went peacefully and had a loving and caring mummy. Big cuddles to you and merlin. x
 
So sorry, trot over the Bridge Polo, if you see my Bertie, give him a nuzzle and say his Mum misses him so much it hurts xx
