OH has just had Bear into the vets, he had taken a likeing to biting his boy bits :(, he had been cleaned up the bite looked to be healing, last night he had been chewing again so off the the vets he went. Sadly he has been put to sleep as the vet said they could operate but his chances were very slim, OH did not want to put him through it and felt it was in his best interest to put him to sleep. Run free little Bear I you were a lovely little boy, I will miss your shouting (Weeking) everytime i walk past your hutch.

I'm so sorry to hear that. You did what was best for him. Run free at the bridge Bear, knowing that your mummy and daddy will never forget you. Sweet dreams little one.

on no such a shame, i was going through your facebook photos of your pets with my 6 year old the other night and she liked bear and thought it was a cool name cause of his colour

My OH named him, becase when he stood up on his back legs he looked like a little Grizzly Bear.
We have buried him next to his mum and sister, OH made him a cross and ive just been busy planting around the grave.
Hes not far from his favorite plant a rouge flowering Rocket plant that he had been happily muching the leaves of this morning.

i like to keep them near each other in the garden
although my little girl has had dreams about an angel that comes and puts a robot animal in the box and then takes the animals body and makes it alive again at her special place, and she says she sees all her old pets playing together, had me welling up one day when she woke and told me this i thought it was sweet
some of her friends have laughed at her for this but i think its a great way for her to cope with the loss of any pet as shes only 6
 
Aww bless her, I'm yet to tell my 2 oldest they are at school, they knew he was going to the vets when they left, gave him a fuss and fed him.

RIP Bear run free at the bridge, now reunited with your mummy and sister again, have fun together popcorning thru the lush green meadows and nibbling on sweet dandelions leafies and lovely carrot tops and your fav rocket plants, you'll be so very very sadly missed by your mummy and daddy but NEVER EVER forgotten xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Really sorry for the loss of Bear, he was such a beautiful little boy.
