My sweet little Daisy passed away last night. Her steroid shot did not increase her appetite or need for water and after Syringing her all weekend she was still loosing weight. We will miss your loud squeaking at veg time Daisy, you were the youngest of the herd but had the biggest voice! I'm sure Bonnie, Millie and Lottie will miss you even though you were the one who was always on the outside looking in. Run free sweet girl ❤️❤️

Big hugs to you xx Daisy was a beautiful girl. So sorry that despite your loving care you could not save her. Popcorn free beautiful girl xx

I am very sorry. You have done what you could for her.

RIP Daisy

I am so very sorry for the loss of your pretty girl, I was hoping she would rally round. Huge hugs to you x

Sleep well little one

RIP Daisy

Thank you all for being so kind.

We miss Daisy so much, it's so quiet at veg time now, even though she was the youngest, smallest girl of the group she yelled for the veg at the top,of her voice-she had the best squeak ever and was so adorable with her pink lipped mouth in the air when she called. Bonnie is missing her, she mothered her and was the only one who was nice to her, the others had the odd peck at her. Lottie and Mille seem to have paired up and Bonnies on the outside, I hope it doesnt stay like this. Lottie (her sister) and she were always very close normally. It's amazing how different it feels going from four girls to three.

It really is heartbreaking to go through this :(

I went from four piggies to three piggies to two piggies within a matter of weeks and I never expected to feel the the loss so hard.

I am now back up to 3 piggies after I adopted a neutered boar for my two sows

I must admit, it did take a while for things to settle down but things eventually worked out and I now have a happy trio.

All you can do is give them time to grieve and see what happens xx

I am so sorry to read this. Sleep tight little Daisy. I hope things settle with your others girls soon. Big hugs
