Run size

I'm not sure about what the sizes of a run should be, but by a going rule, they should be at least a bigger square foot size than the guinea pigs usual cage they live in.

I always buy as big as possible, if I can afford it! Personally I'm not a big fan of these metal runs though, unless they have a solid lid, the safety net wouldn't really stop a cat, so I think they are only for supervised run time unless modified.

Thank you, the problem is that would always be out during the winter months, as once piggies move into the shed, i loose alot of space.

This is the one I have. Its massive. Its also a very good price at the moment -

Only issue I have with it, is catching them when its time to come in! There is no opening on the top. Theres a big door opening at one end, and on the sides at each end is a small door. (just for extra safety, I tie all the doors closed so nothing can open them).

So, I get a box and fill it with hay and plonk it in the run through the big door. Remove all their other hideys, and within a few minutes they have gone into the box which I then just lift out.

Plenty of room for running around :(|)

My run is a double bedroom ... about 9x3 of floorspace in one area then loads of other floor spaces around cages and stuff :-) with loads of areas for them to go under and run behind and stuff :-) its lino so it just sweeps up

outside I have a 8 panel doggy pen for them

I'm looking for an outdoor run for the girls which can be used indoor during the bad weather. We've had a room done which stretches the whole of the back of the house and has tiled floor-the girls cage is in here. I let them run around but would like to use a run in there to minimise the mess. I need one which would fold up easy too because I have a fused spine.

The access for getting them out when they are outside in it needs to be easy for me too so any ideas would be appreciated :)
