Runner beans

I have found that my boys like runner beans but can they eat them whole with the seeds/beans inside? I've been slicing them and taking them out. I also can't help but trim off the ends but Ben who was helping get the veg ready, started chomping on the end of one before I had chance to stop him. Is it ok for them to have the ends as well?

I have heard that the beans are toxic, not sure where I heard this from but maybe someone else can say if I am right?
Wouldn't want to put your piggies at risk.

I am always of a mind not to feed unless I am 100% sure, hope that helps

I would feed them only as an occasional treat in small quantities rather than a regular part of their diet. Also, if possible, cut off the stems; but don't panic of a piggy eats one as a one off!
