runner beans

runner beans can they eat these my mum has just given me loads out of garden

Yep, I grow them, and mine eat them straight off the plants, they love them. Green beans are good for getting skittish piggies nearer to the bars of hutches to eat out of your hand too, as they dont have to come too close if it is a long bean. xx

I also grow runner beans and the piggies love them especially the leaves,it almost causes a stampede when I feed them ! Oh by the way they love bananas too are they okay occasionally does anyone know?

Christine: only ever feed bananas in very small amounts, as guinea pigs get constipated on them. Just as well mine detest them -- sweet, soft and sticky are three things they squirm at!

mine all love runner beans too dident know they could eat the leaves

I feed mine runner beans but I don't feed them the leaves. I am unsure that they are ok.
