sorry cant seem to fnd the fresh food list anywhere, does anyone know if they can have runner beans as I have loads of tops and tails left !

I have printed off the sticky in the food section entitled:

Calcium:Phosphorus Ratios Explained - Diet Advice included

and runner beans do not appear to be listed in there !

I am new to Piggies though so am by no means an expert but I am sure someone will pop along shortly who knows for sure.

Mine have runner beans from time to time, but although they love dwarf beans they aren't so keen on runners. Just make sure you slice them into thin strips so that the "strings" don't cause them any problems, alternatively you could string the beans and then slice them. :)

Thanks everyone - I have learnt something else new today as i did not think that they could have them as they werent on the fresh veg list that I have !

thanks so much everyone ! she loves them as did the bunny (hope he was allowed them !)

mine grab them and run off and eat straight away!:(|)

Mine love them especially the leaves .I grow a whole row for the piggies ,we have the beans and they have the tops tails and leaves it is they only thing they squabble over

I've not tried runner beans with mine, but I've recently tried green beans (after seeing how much E&E loved them when they were at Sophie's). Green beans now make up their breakfast each morning! Saffron is the only one who does not enjoy them, but she is a bit of a food snob. :))

I didn't put any beans on the list as I didn't find any info about them at the time of writing - sorry!

Green beans are a HUGE hit here too.

My girls love them
