Since I've picked up my cavies they give me kisses but they are still difficult to hold, I know they don't do it on purpose but they do scratch a bit.

Anyways, they also keep making cute little noises.

Also why do they run into their home when I come to check up on them.

I think you said on another post that you’ve only had them for a week - that is such a short space of time and most won’t have settled in enough to want to be handled. Piggies can take weeks to months to settle in and be comfortable with their human, even after this time a lot of them will still not like to be held. Sitting by their cage, talking to them and offering food from your hand to gain their trust are some of the first steps. They will be running away and back into their houses because they are scared at the moment

Wow thanks, I will try it out.

It can definitely take awhile for pigs to settle. Months, even.
Just be patient. Also, they are prey animals, so any sudden movements or even if they see someone hovering over the cage, or coming into the room, the first instinct is to run for cover.

Just keep talking to them, & hopefully eventually they will come out of hiding! :)

always warm your pigs that you are coming.. I talk all the time i am entering the room if i am going over to them.. that way they are not too surprised... time and patience is key!
