Hello,

I am worried about Cookie. She suddenly lost weight about two months ago and quickly gained it back. But now she has crustation around her nose and sometimes it is runny. I saw her drooling yesterday but now it has stopped. Otherwise she is perfectly fine and eating perfectly and is just and friendly as ever.
Just wondering what is wrong with her.
Thanks.

Please have her checked by a vet. Is the crustation from yellow/green mucus or from a clear secretion?
You will have to have her checked for respiratory issues, allergy/irritation.

Is she drooling form her mouth, too? In this case, you also need to have her checked for fungal rash that could cause excessive salivation. in that case, itrafungol is the best treatment. it could also be overgrown premolars or roots at the back that could be causing issues. Your vet will need to clear the mouth gently with a cotton bud to have a look at them.

Ok, Thanks.
Is it really serious or fatal?
