Rupert has gone. I have no words. Found him in a collapsed state and he passed in my arms. Heartbroken and confused doesn't cover it...

I'm so sorry. What a shock. Were the circumstances similar to when you lost his little friend?

Sorry to think of practicalities at a really sad time but are the girls in the same airspace? If so I would get them a vet check just to be safe.

That's what I'm worried about. I'm collected some samples of his poo to take to the vet in the morning and I'm going to book the ladies in to have a check up.

It wasn't exactly the same. With Wesley he was trying to walk but couldn't operate his legs properly. Rupert was just completely collapsed. Only a few hours before he was eating his veggies.

Bless them. Poor boys. Glad the girls are being checked. Illnesses like walking Pneumonia can strike out of the blue and can be contagious, though not always. It depends on the pig.

It's horrid, I feel awful. I hope it's just coincidence and nothing that the girls can catch.
