I was so worried after reading this thread but I am sure now that the poor little thing will really well and adapt quickly to life with one eye.

Thanks everyone! She seems to be adapting fine, but I think she had already started to adapt as there is no way she had any sight in that eye prior to the op today. She has to go back for a check up on Monday, and in the meantime she will continue with the antibiotic and metacam.

Clare seems her normal bossy self today! She doesn't seem to be having any problems coping with the loss of her eye. Its so lovely to see her back to her old self!

Clare has been for her post op check this evening and everything is fine! She is completely back to normal and happy!
