Wow, that was not something I thought I would ever say! When I first got my piggies, Lilllith and Rusty, if you told me I would be paying 300$ for surgery on Rusty I would have called you insane! But I would pay the money, go through the tears and frustration all over again. I'm so thankful to have found this wonderful forum. If not for I it I surely would have lost my Rusty baby.
The fur around where she got her lump is all shaved off and looks rather funny, in a few days I'll take a picture of it to show you guys :)) right now she needs to rest though.
But everything went well thankfully, the vet gave me some more baytril for her, she has probably 7 more pills now.
And the stitches will dissolve in about 14 days the vet told us.

YAY! congrats for you and Rusty! And I agree this forum is a wealth of comfort and forward thinking for piggy slaves! Get well soon Rusty! We want recovery pigtures! x

Love to Rusty, so pleased it going well x x

How was Rusty with his stitches today? Has he been a good man?

SORRY FOR THE LATE REPLY! Exams have bee killing me lol.
Rusty's a girl, but mixing her gender up is SUCH an easy mistake, I totally understand. When I first saw her I thought she was a he and then with her name it just made things that much worst lol. I didn't name her and I was going to change her name but Rusty suited her so well!
She's doing well, she's picking at here stitches a bit and I'm really in a pickle as to how to get her to stop mallethead

She might stop if you rub the flavor of something she doesn't like on it. Doesn't have to be a dangerous or painful thing; for example, if she doesn't like celery put a dab of celery juice near the stitches. I'm glad to hear she is recovering well.
