Lost my Eviie guinea pig to the rainbow bridge this morning!

Went out about 7am as I do most mornings, and I could hear a guinea pig crying! thought that was odd! and it was Ediie! Eviie's mummy, Eviie was dead in the cage and her mum was crying for her :cry::cry:

think she had a stroke :cry: the other 4 are fine! now its just mummy and 2 daughters, and auntie rather than 3 daughters! :cry:

AND

one of my boy pigs Loral, is critically ill! He is unlikly to make it through the night, vets have done all they can, its up to him to fight through it or go to the bridge to! :cry:

thats 2 things,! I'm a big believer in things happening in 3s! I can't cope if the third is another problem with one of my animals! :cry:

no new babies, the 'babies' are just over a year old,

Loral and his mate Hardy are 4-5 months, Lorals a PEW and has had fits since he was born, always new he was a life limited piggie! found him in a colapsed state this morning :(
 
Sorry to hear your sad news. I do hope your poorly baby makes it.

It is tough to lose a piggy, even tough to lose more than one. You start to feel like you are doing something wrong when it is just a bad coincidence.

I hope that all your others will go on to thrive for a while. Give Loral a kiss from me, poor little guy!

I feel so guilty :( now a mummy is without one of her babies and the 2 girls have lost a sister, and aunties lost a neice! :0

sorry to hear your sad news. I think we all in the piggie family on here have been where you are..............i lost 2 boys last year & my girl may have had a mini stroke at the weekend but she is fine now. Hugs to you & cuddles to your piggie family! xx

So sorry to hear this. Its hard losing a piggy and having another so ill. We have our paws crossed for him.

UPDATE

Loral piggie was helped to the bridge, about an hour ago

He had another huge fit, that didn't stop! He lost the use to his back legs!

Enough was enough! :( he put up a such a fight, but it was his time!

Oh you poor thing. Having lost two piggies recently close together I know and can sympathise with how you feel. Nothing lives forever and you did your very best and gave them so much love which all they could have asked for. I just want to say hugs from all of us and sleep peacefully little ones. x
 
aww soo sorry to hear this, i have not yet experienced a passing, but i was a state when my lil pig had a inner ear infection and came close to passing, i dread the day :(

Lots of hugs and squeeks from us guys :(:(
